Welcome to the School District of Shiocton Food Service Department
The Food Service Department offers well balanced, nutritious meals daily. Our goal is to encourage our students to eat a healthy breakfast and lunch to help better their learning throughout the school day.
Please take a moment to become familiar with our department.
Hours of operation are: 7:30 - 7:50 a.m. Breakfast
10:40 a.m. – 12:40 p.m. Lunch
Families are welcome to join their student(s) for meals. Normal charges will apply.

The Food Service Director can be reached from 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Mon-Fri.
The menu is posted on our district website and in the monthly Link for easy access.
The School District of Shiocton uses Skyward Family Access. Families are able to access their balance and purchase history at any time by going to Skyward Family Access via the district website. Only the primary guardian will have access to account information.
The National School Lunch Program offers free and reduced priced meals. This is made possible with federal funding. Families may apply any time during the school year. Applications are available in the Foodservice department, Elementary, High School and District offices, and included in the registration packet at the beginning of the school year. All information is strictly confidential. Please fill out the application and return it to:

Hot Lunch Payments and Procedures
Reminder to all parents: Family lunch accounts are prepaid accounts. Money must be deposited into your family account prior to purchases being made or purchases may not be allowed. Family accounts cannot fall below - $20.00. Please make sure your family account is current.
Families are notified of their current balances by the Skylert Automated Phone System. Families will be notified on Tuesday and Friday when their family account reaches $10.00 or below,Monday and Thursdays when the family account is negative, e mails are sent out daily. Holidays are excluded. You will continue to receive a notification until the account balance is restored. We encourage families to keep phone numbers and e mails current. If their are any changes please contact Jackie Murphy at 920-986-3351 x721 or jmurphy@shiocton.k12.wi.us for grades EC-8 and Jackie Herrmann at 920-986-3351 x782 or jherrmann@shiocton.k12.wi.us for grades 9-12.
Families are able to make payments to their lunch accounts by checks, cash, or e-Funds for Schools. Checks and cash can be dropped off at any of the school offices, the District Office, or the Food Service department. Families can also mail checks to the attention of Deb Danke - Food Service Director. When paying by cash or check, please identify the youngest student and the primary guardian. Please do not send cash in the mail.
All family members are on one lunch account. When families make deposits to their family account, only one deposit is needed to make payments. When a purchase is made, the amount will be deducted from the family account.
e-Funds for Schools (online payments) is available via the district website. Click here to open Skyward Family Access. Follow the directions below to make an online payment.
1. Login into Skyward Family Access.
2. Click on the “Food Service” tab for one of your children. It does not matter which child is chosen since lunch accounts are family accounts.
3. Click on the “Make On-Line Payment” button.
4. Enter a payment amount.
5. Click on “Pay with e-Funds.”
6. If you have not previously registered, you will need to do that at this point. You will only be required to register one time. You will be creating a username and password during the registration process.
7. Enter your username and password.
8. Choose your payment method and follow the on-screen directions.
NOTE: If paying by credit card, you will be required to use a touch-tone phone to make your payment. A charge will be applied to the credit card. Follow the directions found on the screen.
