Education was always encouraged by our parents and they believed in each person having the opportunity to reach their full potential. Senior planning to enroll in a 2 yr. or 4 yr. accredited school.  

 A student who has made good strides in overcoming adversity toward their goal of college or technical school education. A student that had to overcome the most to be able to make it into college. A student that is deserving but unable to quality for other scholarships based on class ranking or grade point average.

One senior student who plans to enroll in a 4-year degree program and has a GPA of 3.0 or better.

One senior student who plans to enroll in a 2-year or 4-year degree program and has a GPA of 3.5 or better. Must compete in at least one high school sport. Slight preference for students entering careers to the health fields, sciences, or mathematics.

Two $500 non-renewable scholarship awards for tuition expenses after successful completion of the first semester of post-secondary school while obtaining a 3.0 GPA.

The Alumni Scholarship Committee will give consideration to those applicants that volunteer at the annual Shiocton Alumni Basketball and Volleyball Tournament in March.

Senior Softball Players from Classes of 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027 who are attending a technical school or college, full or part time.

Payable: Scholarship is paid upon coach’s receipt of first semester passing grades.

Amount is based upon the percentage of funds raised for the 2020 Florida Spring Training Trip through school-approved fundraisers. Goal being $1320.

100-96% of funds raised = $500 award

95-90% of funds raised = $425 award

85-94% of funds raised = $375 award

75-84% of funds raised = $300 award

Applicant must be a basketball player, have a 3.0 or higher GPA, and be enrolled at an accredited college, university, technical, or trade school after graduation.

Wrestling Scholarship Criteria

Applicant(s) must be a Shiocton high school wrestler or manager, have been actively involved for 2+ years at the High School Level. Scholarship is awarded to students attending a 2-year or 4-year college.

Requires two letters of recommendation; one letter must be from a high school wrestling coach. Must include a Cover Letter

This scholarship will be awarded to a wrestler, or an individual associated with the sport of wrestling based on quality of application and how well the applicant meets the criteria.

Items to Consider for Candidates:

● Service to the wrestling community (example - assistance at youth level or fundraising)

● Letters of Recommendation

● Community service outside of wrestling

● GPA

The scholarship award decision will be made by the current Shiocton Wrestling Club officers/board members via secret ballot.

Two (2) Wrestling Athlete Awards - $500.00 each

One (1) senior who is planning to further his/her education beyond high school. Preference will have given to a student who is interested in pursuing a career in the Arts or Teaching profession.

Applicant must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, be accepted to UW-Madison, and plan to enroll in a science or math related field of study.

One (1) Scholarship for expenses related to tuition, room and board at UW-Madison. Amount will be determined annually.

Students going into a career in the arts field.

How to Apply: Fill out the form, also include 4-6 photos of your art work. Write a description about the work and media you used to create each piece. If you have a three-dimensional piece of art work, please take a few photos of the piece(s) at different angles, so we can better visualize it.
