2021 Season Review
The 2021 Volleyball season started with new coaches at every level. As coaches, we needed to stress to the team that we were going to do our very best to make this season successful and fun. And we did just that. The team was young, talented, competitive, and they worked very hard every day to improve their game. Our overall record was 13-18. We finished 3-3 in Conference which tied us for third with Amherst and Weyauwega. We also found out that we liked playing at home where we went 6-1. In Regional play, we won our first match against Manawa and then went on to challenge Oconto who was the #1 seed. This is where our season ended with a loss to Oconto. In spite of our season ending loss, we as a team exceeded our goals and in doing so, our season was a success.
We also recognized some of our volleyball athletes with deserving end of season awards. Larissa Young received an All-Conference Honorable mention award. Kendal Stingle and Ari Stingle received 2nd-team All Conference Awards.
Our Most Valuable Player award went to Kendal Stingle. Our Coaches award went to Larissa Young, who was one of our captains. Our other captain was Brooklyn Kleiber. Our two Most Improved Player Awards went to Liz Pelky and Autumn Taylor.
We need to thank our seniors Larissa Young, Brooklyn Kleiber, Olivia Conradt, Katie Hanks, and Jocelyn Houterman for their contributions to the volleyball program and we wish them much success with their future endeavors. They will be missed by all.
