The Shiocton Girls had a very successful 2023-2024 wrestling season. All 4 of our wrestlers (Chloe Nelson, Lexi Riehl, Aubrey Hess, and Stevie Baker) improved immensely throughout the season through hard work and determination. Lexi led the team with 37 wins with Chloe, Lexi, and Stevie all missing the state tournament by one match. A huge thank you to our lone senior, Lexi Riehl, for being the first girl to wrestle for Shiocton and for helping build our program over the last four years. A huge thank you to everyone that supported the team throughout the year. We cannot wait to see what we accomplish next year!

The Shiocton Wrestling team had a very successful season where they had a 18-9 dual record, finished as CWC Conference Champions for the 4th straight season, and finished as Team Sectional Runner-Up. The Chiefs qualified 6 individuals for the WIAA State Tournament in Holdyn Volkman, Mason Demerath, Izaiah Sanchez, Jordan Jahnke, Blake Carton, and Ilijah Sanchez. Holdyn (6th), Izaiah (4th), Jordan (6th), and Blake (2nd) all placed at the WIAA State Tournament.
This team showed a great deal of resilience this year to overcome injuries and tragedy while improving throughout the season to accomplish everything we did. The coaching staff is incredibly proud of everyone for all the work they put in during the season and in the offseason.
A huge thank you to seniors Israel Sanchez and Logan Leeman for committing 4 years to this program while helping us accomplish great things. Another huge thank you to everyone that supported the team throughout the year. The Shiocton Wrestling community is special and everyone plays a part in it.
We are extremely excited to put in some work this offseason and we cannot wait to see what we accomplish next year!
GO CHIEFS!
