The Shiocton Boys Wrestling team had a very successful season where they had a 20-9 dual record, finished 2nd in the CWC, and finished as Team Sectional Runner-Up. The Chiefs qualified 5 individuals for the WIAA State Tournament with all 5 wrestlers placing at state. The wrestlers were Holdyn Volkman (6th), Izaiah Sanchez (4th), Isaiah Carton (6th), Blake Carton (2nd), and Ilijah Sanchez (2nd). 

Thank you to the seniors for committing 4 years to this program while helping us accomplish great things. During those 4 years, we accomplished 82 career duals wins, 3 CWC Conference Championships, a Team State Runner-Up finish, and 2 Team Sectional Runner-Up finishes.

The Shiocton Girls had a very successful 2024-2025 wrestling season. All 5 of our wrestlers (Chloe Nelson, Inai Sanchez, Cally Presteen, Aubrey Hess, and Lily Helser) improved immensely throughout the season through hard work and determination. Aubrey led the teams with 36 wins and 28 pins. Aubrey, Chloe, and Lily all made sectionals with Lily missing the state tournament by 1 match. A huge thank you to Aubrey for committing 3 years to this program.

Another huge thank you to everyone that supported the teams throughout the year. The Shiocton Wrestling community is special and everyone plays a part in it.

We are extremely excited to put in some work this offseason and we cannot wait to see what we accomplish next year!
