The 2025 season started off on a high note with the addition of three Freshman players with expectations of making significant contributions to our team. Those expectations were met when all three players made the starting Varsity lineup.
Unfortunately, Mother Nature pitched us one of the worst spring weather seasons ever. It even affected our indoor Rhinelander tournament when the dome was destroyed due to a snow storm. It was 6 weeks to the day of the start of our season before we were able to get on our diamond. We were only able to complete 15 of 26 games. Still we were able to make some great memories and played some very competitive games.
Our two senior captains consisted of three year letter winners Abi Presteen and Morgan Oskey. They were exceptional leaders and were among the top offensive and defensive players on the team. Abi was a first year varsity pitcher and selected 2nd team All Conference and our team’s Most Outstanding Player. Morgan received All Conference Honorable Mention and is our team's Defensive MVP.
Other award recipients were Ella Griesbach, 1st team All Conference and our team’s Offensive MVP. Cally Presteen also received All Conference Honorable Mention. Other letter winners were Mallory Oskey, Lana Arneson, Brenna Beilfuss, Chloe Nelson, May Krake, Abby Young and Kali Fischer who also received the Coaches award.
We are a young team and continued to improve as the season went on. The girls bonded well and had amazing team chemistry moving our team culture in the right direction.
We would like to thank all the amazing volunteer coaches. We greatly appreciate the contributions they made to our team! Also, a huge thank you to our parents and their unwavering support of our program!
